I know it has been a little while since I asked you to complete an assignment, but I’m hoping you are willing to complete one more for me, relatively soon. I promise it is an interesting one (of course, all my assignments were interesting, weren’t they??)! It is also an assignment that is important to Woodland Christian High.

Cardus is a Christian think tank that has undertaken a huge study of how well YOUR PROFILE (as a graduate of a Christian school) lines up with what the Christian schools set out as their GOALS in the first place. Are the schools having the kind of influence on their students and the world that their founders and leaders hope for and worked for?

Cardus creates reports that compare home-school, public school, catholic school and Christian school grads from across North America AND that give individual schools like Woodland a gauge by which to assess their impact as well. Is our school developing world changers? Happy, faith-filled Christians? Thoughtful intelligent grads who are prepared well academically? Are any of these important to us? Should they be?

The survey is kind of long – about 35 minutes to complete – but the information that we can gather from this exercise is VERY valuable as we shape the future of our school.

This assignment is time sensitive. We want to get as many of our alumni as possible to complete the survey by: December 9, 2012. Extra credit if you just go do it today while this is fresh in your mind!
